Restore the folding function of your Porsche Cayenne’s rear seat without replacing the entire seat assembly.

This replacement rear seat release latch is designed for Porsche Cayenne 955 and 957 models from 2003–2010. The original latch can break over time, preventing the rear seat from folding down. Because this small component is difficult to find separately, the repair can sometimes lead owners to believe they need to replace the entire rear seat assembly.

This replacement latch restores the functionality of the original mechanism using your existing OEM spring.

Installation

Using a T20 screwdriver:

  1. Remove the two screws holding the latch cover in place.
  2. Remove the original broken latch.
  3. Transfer the OEM spring to the replacement latch.
  4. Insert the new latch into the cover.
  5. Reinstall the cover and screws.

Please Note

Spring is not included. The original OEM spring must be transferred to the replacement latch.
